7 Restaurant Prepares for Michael Vick's Arrival in Lynchburg V.A. @ 7 restaurant
Lynchburg, VA - Former Hokie and NFL Quarterback Michael Vick will make an appearance in the Hill City Monday. Owners of ‘7’ restaurant are friends and former teammates of Michael Vick.
Since '7' opened, owners say they've had to deal with the controversy of Vick's past. Even though they say name of the restaurant has nothing to do with Vick or his jersey number.
"We even get some negative fan mail, but it's still positive," said Marcus Revely Co-Owner '7'.
For fans like Charles Turner, who came to ‘7’ Sunday to watch Vick play against the Atlanta Falcons, say it’s time to look past Vick’s mistakes.
"I hope it inspires people to look at him as a person and more as an athlete,” said Charles Turner, Philadelphia Eagles Fan.

“A lot of people will get to see the real side of Michael Vick. People don't know him personally like I do," said Marcus Revely, Co-Owner '7'.and friend.
Revely says he hopes the visit will show fans a more personal side of Michael Vick.
"Sports’ is entertainment, and people love to see a great athlete. And, that's what he is a great athlete, and he's a human being," said Revely.
Fans on Sunday weren’t all cheering for Michael Vick’s game, but they all agree his visit to the Hill city will be a positive one.
"He has to move on with his life. If he comes to Lynchburg there's probably going to be a good crowd, and I wouldn't expect anything else,” said Brett Pale.
“It's nice to have a celebrity come around, because it is a small town. Everybody likes to have someone big and famous come through," said Kenny Fielder.

4 reports "Geneticist Aarathi Prasad considers the theory that mixed-race humans are blessed with innate advantages, something farmers recognise in plants and animals as hybrid vigour. This idea is regarded as repellent by both dingbat racists and, as Prasad discovers, by many mixed-race people who object to being defined by their skin colour.. Before 1967, it was illegal in 16 American states for a black person and white person to marry.

Experts claim serious side effects of flu shots amount to about one in a million - well this is what that one in a million looks like. This has freaked me out enough to bypass flu shots in the future. But what do I know - to each their own. A 25 year old woman in Ashburn, Virginia has come down with a severe debilitating neurological disorder days after receiving a seasonal flu vaccination.

Legendary DJ Mr. Magic Suffers Fatal Heart Attack
According to reports, legendary DJ Mr. Magic died of a heart attack this morning. Though few details are known about his death, his life was widely celebrated; he was one of hip hop's most influential characters in the 1980's.
The DJ, born John Rivas, was the first to helm an exclusive rap mix show on a major station. His show, "Rap Attack," began airing on WBLS in NYC in 1983. Magic hosted the show, with Marley Marl as his DJ, ruling the airwaves for most of the 80's. Magic went on to become a producer and performer in his own right, working with the Force MD's on 'Let Me Love You,' and 'Forgive Me Girl,' and releasing a popular compilation series based on his show, 'Mr. Magic's Rap Attack.'
He was the inspiration for Marley Marl's legendary crew, The Juice Crew, which featured newcomers Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie and Roxanne Shanté, and was inspired by Magic's alias, "Sir Juice."
Magic's career came full circle when, 20 years after he hosted rap's first major radio show, he was picked to host old school rap station "Wildstyle" on the hugely successful video game 'Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.'
Magic was forever immortalized in Biggie Smalls' "Juicy," when he spit, "Every Saturday, "Rap Attack"/Mr. Magic, Marley Marl." He was also referenced by Nas, 2Pac and many others, including Whodini, who dedicated "Magic's Wand" to him.
This morning, DJ Premier wrote a letter eulogizing Mr. Magic, stating "He paved the way for all radio stations that ever did mixshows and also sparked the career of Boogie Down Productions due to the diss he showed when they came to shop their demo to him and was turned away which then sparked 'South Bronx' and 'The Brideg is Over.'
Mr. Magic was truly the voice of hip hop for an entire generation of fans, for whom the radio was the only place to hear the music. He will be missed.

LIL MAMA TELL'S HER STORY,WHY SHE JUMPED ON STAGE & SAYS NO DISRESPECT ENTENDED 2 THE ARTIST !! IM FROM BROOKLYN?
If you watched Sunday's (September 13) MTV VMAs, you probably noticed that Kanye West wasn't the only one who hopped on stage uninvited. Rapper Lil Mama also decided to grace the stage ... unplanned.
During the show's closing performance, in which Jay-Z and Alicia Keys broke into their song "Empire State of Mind," the "America's Best Dance Crew" judge hopped out of her seat and onto the stage during the song's final seconds.
It wasn't planned and even Jay seemed a little shocked by it.
Jay-Z had gestured for her to chill, and joked she was "T-Paining too much," before he and Alicia Keys struck a pose to end their performance to which Lil Mama awkwardly stood in her b-girl stance beside them, as if it were scripted.
